Jon joined Chartwell Hospitality in May 2016 and handles hotel investments, debt financing, financial analysis and underwriting.  Chartwell is a fully integrated hotel company with 37 operating hotels and another seven in development.

Prior to joining Chartwell, Jon was the Chief Investment Officer with Platinum Companies and Managing Director at Rockbridge Capital for over three years, where he led their investment platform.  Prior to Rockbridge, Jon served as Senior Vice President — Acquisitions, Project Finance and Investment Analysis for Hilton Hotels Corporation where his responsibilities included acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing, joint venture financing and negotiating management agreements for hotel projects. He was also responsible for Hilton’s Feasibility & Investment Analysis Department and played an instrumental role in Hilton’s acquisition of Hilton International in February 2006 and the sale of Hilton Hotels Corporation to Blackstone in October 2008.  Prior to Hilton, he spent seven years with Marriott Corporation where he was involved in a variety of financial and real estate matters, most notably the spinoff of Marriott’s real estate assets and creation of Host Hotels & Resorts in 1993. 

Jon has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BA from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.
